Schedule

Class curriculum is based on a nine-month academic year. Placement beyond introductory classes is dependent upon successful mastery of skills in previous classes' curriculum, age and placement audition for upper levels.

Children's Program: starts at age 3

Youth Program: ages 10-14

Adult Program: age 15+

First Day of classes: August 23, 2010
Last Day of Classes: May 14, 2011

Closed for all Anchorage School District holidays, and November 21-27 (Thanksgiving Week, December 19-January 2 (Winter Break), March 6-12 (Spring Break)

Tuition and $60 annual registration fee (per student) due upon registration. Payment plans available. Late payments will result in late fees and suspension of classes until balance is paid and up-to-date.

Tuition:

• All tuition based on full school year (34 weeks)
• Annual registration fee of $60 per student, due upon registration / first installment.
• Payment plans available, each installment includes $3 handling fee. Late payments will be assessed a $30 late fee and suspension of classes until balance paid.
• Registration fee and tuition is non-refundable.
• All payment plans require a current credit or debit card on file.
• Return check fee: $30
• All checks processed electronically.

Class Cards:

5 classes for $95

Annual registration fee of $60 due upon purchase of first card each year.

Class cards may be used for Adult classes (Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern: Level 2 and higher only, and Pilates). Class cards are not eligible for Children's or Youth programs, or workshops.

SUMMER SESSION

We will hold an 8 week session (click for schedule) of regular classes for summer 2010, June 7 - July 29.  Schedule updated 6/14/10.

CREATIVE DANCE CAMP

We will hold a one week Creative Dance Camp for ages 4-8, July 26-30 from 10am - 4pm, culiminating in a performance for families on Friday, July 30 at Alaska Dance Theatre.  Cost per child is $300 and includes creative dance instruction, introduction to ballet, jazz and modern vocabulary, crafts and activities, and so much more!  Students bring their own lunch, with a snack provided daily.  (option available for 10am-1pm as well for $175)  Call 277-9591 to register.

SUMMER INTENSIVE

The 2-week summer intensive will be held August 2-13, 10am - 5pm, and is designed for intermediate to advanced level students.  ADT is proud to welcome guest instructor, Gillmer Duran, from Eugene Ballet!  Don't miss this opportunity... For schedule click here.

SUMMER INTENSIVE SCHEDULE

Classes run Monday - Friday, August 2 - 13, 10am - 5pm

Last Friday of intensive will include a showing for families at 4pm in the ADT Studios.

Designed for intermediate to advanced students featuring Guest Instructor, Gillmer Duran from Eugene  Ballet.  Students will enjoy instruction in ballet, pointe & pre-pointe, modern, jazz, choreography, variations, and workshops in things like character, ballroom, dance history and nutrition.

$350 for 1-week - students participating in one week option will not be able to participate in the Friday showing at 4pm on August 13.
